Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochshule Aachen

With 260 institutes in nine faculties, RWTH Aachen University is one of Europe's leading institutions for science and research. Over 5,000 of a total of 31,400 are international students hailing from 120 different countries. Prof. Uwe Naumann's group at RWTH Aachen University currently consists of 10 post-graduate research fellows and one secretary. It is involved in seven third-party funded research activities ranging from the development of AD software to the application of discrete adjoints in CS&E.

Prof. Uwe Naumann (naumann@stce.rwth-aachen.de) is a member of the Numerical Algorithms Group Ltd. (www.nag.co.uk), of the Juelich Aachen Research Alliance (www.jara.org), and an he is an adjunct member of the SciDAC institute CSCAPES (www.cscapes.org). He has been a PI in the Aachen Institute for Advanced Studies in Computational Engineering Science (www.aices.rwth-aachen.de) since 2007.
