11th ASMO UK/ISSMO/NOED2016:
International Conference on
Numerical Optimisation Methods for Engineering Design
Technische Universität München, Germany, July 18th-20th 2016 |
Multi-disciplinary and adjoint-based design optimisation methods are providing powerful and systematic model-based processes for the optimisation of increasingly complex engineering systems, including many important examples in the aerospace and automotive industries. ASMO UK/ISSMO, the EU Marie Curie Initial Training Networks About Flow and Amedeo, with support by the EC-funded projects IODA and Maddog are jointly organising an international conference on this topic.
The ASMO-UK/ISSMO series of conferences provides an opportunity for researchers on multi-disciplinary optimisation from within and outside the UK and Germany to get together and share experience within a growing community. It is an international forum for academic and industrial researchers, as well as engineering design specialists, to present, discuss and learn about the latest developments in this fast-moving field. Application papers are particularly welcome.
The conference will comprise invited talks by a number of international speakers, contributed presentations, and a benchmark workshop on adjoint-based design optimisation. Details about the call for papers and call for workshop contributions are given below. The hashtag for the meeting is #NOED2016
